Lovely creative couple from Toronto who’s jobs both keep them working in LA often. They wanted to purchase something central in LA to music venues and studios for his work and eastside for their taste. They also wanted to “medium term rent” (30 plus days at a time) their place while they were in Canada.
We were able to find an AMAZING condo in Studio City. The photos on the MLS were terrible. The condo needed a lot of work but we were able to get an amazing place for an amazing price that is worth about $250k more that what they bought it for. Cherry on top is that the rent while they’re away covers the entire year worth of mortgage each year!

We found/created the perfect Los Angeles studio for half of the year we’re living here. It allows us flexibility with our lifestyle, as we can rent it out when we’re away and have a great home when we’re here in LA working.
This 1957 super retro midcentury modern 1 bed 1 bach condo in Studio City is a dream! We purchased the house in bad condition for under market value and rehabbed it into this super stylish studio! Check the “after” photos below!
